MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally into Latin pop. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in 2017. The album he released as his debut ADN was released in 2017 by La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. The album peaked at the top of the charts, number 8 in the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca is the Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. He worked together with Noriel on Mala Influencia in 2020 and the following year dropped his sophomore album charting Dopamina. Later in 2021 he performed the duet for TINI's smash streaming single Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo was raised in the musical home of his family. Both his elder brother and mom are both musicians. In interviews, he referred to his participation in music as compulsory. While a youngster, was playing the ukulele and the piano. At first, he wanted to become Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons with the help of a Cuban singer, he changed career plans.
